Obituary: Nancy Louise Festervan, 77, Bardstown

Nancy Louise Festervan, 77, of Bardstown, died Monday, Jan. 8, 2018, at Hardin Memorial Hospital. She was born May 13, 1940, in Nelson County. She was former employee for Brown and Williamson, a part-time caregiver, and a member of the Catholic faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Murphy; and two brothers, Tommy Murphy and Bobby Murphy.

She is survived by two sons, Jeff (Stacey) Festervan of Elizabethtown, and Stacy (Lora) Festervan of Bardstown; six sisters, Mary Brown, Shirley Phillips, Bettye Bell, Mary “Catsy” Inman, Brenda Foster, and LaMonda Spalding; one brother, Bert Murphy; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Mass is 11 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018, at St. Thomas Catholic Church with the Rev. Jason Harris officiating. Burial is in the Bardstown Cemetery.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2018 and 9-10:15 a.m. Thursday at Barlow Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may go toward her service.
