Obituary: Mary Lois Foster Holbert, 86, Hodgenville

Mary Lois Foster Holbert, 86, of Hodgenville, went to be with her heavenly Father on Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2018, at her home surrounded by her family. She was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church in Buffalo. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was born Nov. 22, 1931 in Green County to the late Joe Lee and Viva Gertrude Pierce Foster.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Patsy K. Allen and Joan “Jody” Thompson; one brother, Bobby Gene Foster; and one stepson, Troy Holbert.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Elmer “Jo” Holbert of Hodgenville; one son, Gary W. (Marcey) Milby of Hodgenville; one stepdaughter, Shelia Durbin of Bardstown; one stepson, Greg Holbert of Florida; two grandchildren, Tonya (Mike) Gregory and Adam W. (Lori) Milby; three great-grandchildren, Mason Gregory, Preston Milby and Addison Milby; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 12, 2018, at the William R. Rust Funeral Home Hodgenville Chapel with Bro. Glen Rice officiating. Burial is in the Buffalo Baptist Church cemetery.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018, and after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

The William R. Rust Funeral Home Hodgenville Chapel, 612 N. Lincoln Blvd., Hodgenville is in charge of arrangements.
