Obituary: William Ray ‘Billy’ Tipton, 58, Louisville

William Ray “Billy” Tipton, 58, of Louisville, died Monday, Jan. 8, 2018, at his home. He was an inspector for Republic Industries, a member of Larchmont Church of God and the Nation Rifle Association.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl Tipton; his parents, Everett and Mamie Kappel Tipton; and one sister, Doris Belcher.

He is survived by two daughters, Sabrina Tipton and Monica Hall; one sister, Linda Pinkston; four brothers, Larry Tipton (Diane), Robert Tipton (Debbie), John Tipton and Bruce Tipton; and six grandchildren.

The funeral is 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan.1 4, 2018, at the Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction with burial in the Lebanon Junction City Cemetery.

Visitation is 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction is in charge of the arrangements.
