Obituary: Inez Genevieve Johnson, 94, Elizabethtown

Inez Genevieve Johnson, 94, of Elizabethtown, died Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018, at Elizabethtown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church and worked at the Glass House restaurant. She also enjoyed babysitting.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jordan Placidus and Mary Susana Smith Johnson; four sisters, Edna Rose Wilcoxson, Helen C. Bryan, Marian E. Roby and Doris F. Anderson; and one brother, William P. “Pat” Riggs.

Survivors include her many nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Mass is noon Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018, at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Lebanon Junction with the Rev. Brian Kenney officiating. Burial will be in St. Clare Cemetery.

Visitation is 9-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction is in charge of the arrangements.
