Obituary: Judith Carol ‘Judy’ Jones Miles, 72, Bardstown
Judith Carol “Judy” Jones Miles, 72, of Bardstown, died Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018, at her residence. She was born June 24, 1945, in Bardstown. She worked at Intertec and was a member of the First Cedar Creek Baptist Church. She was a member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, John W. “Billy” Miles; her parents, Matt and Cory Jones; two sisters, Zella Jones and Molly Stamper; and four brothers, Kelly Jones, John Jones, Floyd Jones and Harrison Jones.
She is survived by one daughter, Charlotte (Chris) Sinclair; two sisters, Hallie Raisor of Lebanon and Rosie Curtsinger of Missouri; one brother, Freddie Jones of Bardstown; two grandchildren, Miranda Ragg and Jacob Sinclair; three great-grandchildren, Lauren Pinkston, Jeremiah Lester, and Avery Foss; a niece who was like a daughter, Carol Cannon of Mannsville, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 18, 2018, at the First Cedar Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Gerald Hegwood officiating. Burial is in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018, and 9-10:15 a.m. Thursday at Barlow Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may go toward funeral expenses.
