Obituary: Mary ‘Angela’ Booth, 88, Lebanon Junction
Mary “Angela” Booth, 88, of Lebanon Junction, died peacefully Monday, Jan. 15, 2018, at her home. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend. She was a lifelong member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. She was born May 1, 1929, in Colesburg. She was the daughter of the late Paul Jerome Brian and Mayme French Brian.
She was preceded in death by six brothers, the Rev. Bert Brian, Francis Vincent Brian (Bettye), Joseph Donald Brian (Ann), Thomas Brian (Shirley), and Joseph Carrol Brian (Rita); and four sisters, Josephine Brian Hundley (Lee), Patricia Brian Cooper (Charles), Betty Brian Beeler (Jack), and Jane Brian Beeler (Bill).
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Jerome Glenn Booth; three daughters, Glenda Ann Coleman (Merrill), Mary Claire Bryan (Greg), and Annette Marie Kappel; four sons, Jerome Lee “Jerry” Booth (Jackie), Phillip Francis Booth (Heather), Stephen Joseph Booth, and Brian Anthony Booth; two sisters, Mary Winifred Brian Sweet (Charles) and Sister Johanna Brian (SL); two brothers, Joseph E. Brian (Marlyn) and John Michael Brian (Nadine); 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 19, 2018, at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Lebanon Junction with burial in the St. Clare Cemetery in Colesburg.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 18, 2018, and after 9 a.m. Friday at the Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction with a 6 p.m. prayer service Thursday.
The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the Hospice staff for the loving care they provided and are asking that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Hosparus of Central Kentucky, 105 Diecks Drive, Elizabethtown, Kentucky 42701.
