Obituary: Kristi Lynn Johnson, 42, Cecilia

Kristi Lynn Johnson, 42, of Cecilia, died Monday, Jan. 15, 2018, at Hardin Memorial Hospital from complications with pneumonia. She was born Jan. 27, 1975.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Arvil and Thelma Cundiff of Eastview, Garland Johnson of Cecilia, Jane Johnson Miller and V.R. Miller of Stephensburg; and two uncles, Bill Johnson of White Mills and Layman Cundiff of Fairdale.

She is survived by her parents, Robert A. “Bobby” and Kathy Johnson of Cecilia; her aunts and uncles that she dearly loved, Darrell and Brenda Cundiff, Arvil and Sharon Cundiff, Gerald and Pat Cundiff, Thelma Cundiff, John and Sondra Johnson, Mike and Joan Johnson, and Judy Johnson; her grandmother, Mary Ann Johnson of Bardstown; great-uncles, great-aunts; and many cousins; her best friend, Scott West; and her constant companion, Mr. Jinx, her cat.

Cremation was chosen by the family. A private burial will take place at Meeting Creek Cemetery.

A Celebration of Life will held 1-4 p.m. on her birthday Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018, at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. The family asks to just bring your love.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hardin County Animal Shelter.

The Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown is in charge of arrangements.
