Obituary: Nina Conder Barger, 72

Nina Conder Barger, 72, died Monday, Jan. 29, 2018, at Markey Cancer Center in Lexington. Originally from Bradfordsville, KY, she was born to the late Sam and Lois Conder. She retired in 2007 after 20 years of dedicated employment with Woodbridge/Intertec Systems in Bardstown. She had many interests including traveling, boating, fishing, and gardening. She was an avid reader. She was loved by many family and friends.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Norma Phillips and Pam Young; and one brother, Carol Conder.

Survivors include one daughter, Jo Lynn Rakes Berry (Tony) of Lexington; two sisters, Ruth McKeeby of Amherst, Va. and Rita Dean of Liberty; three brothers, Gale Conder of Somerset, Dale Conder of Knoxville and Johnny Conder of Augusta, Ga.; two granddaughters, Sydney Berry and Olivia Berry of Lexington; one grandson Chad Mattingly (Brittany) of Louisville; and two great-grandsons, William Mattingly and Brooks Mattingly of Louisville.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 2, 2018, at Bosley Funeral Home, officiated by Harold Gribbins. Burial is in the Old Liberty Cemetery.

Visitation is 9-11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 2, 2018.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hosparus.

The Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon is in charge of arrangements.
