According to Johnny Warren, the drama’s managing artistic director, the drama has opportunities in both The Stephen Foster Story and Mary Poppins for local performers of all ages.

“Each year our cast includes performers from all over the country who come to Bardstown to perform for the summer. I also like to include local talent when possible and strive for a good balance of local and non- local performers, That’s part of what makes this cast special,” Warren explained.

“Tourists enjoy the fact that we have Kentuckians in the cast. I encourage anyone locally who enjoys singing in a choir or has had experience in community theatre musicals to audition for us.”
