Obituary: Bonnie Loraine Ashbaugh, 89, Cox’s Creek
Bonnie Loraine Ashbaugh, 89, of Cox’s Creek, died Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2018, after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease. She was born in Bullitt County and spent most of her life in Nelson County. Along with her husband, they owned and operated Quincy Ashbaugh Trucking, and were farmers. She was also an employee of Kroger for 32 years, and a member of Riverview Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Amp and Myrtle Evans Mudd; her husband, Quincy Ray Ashbaugh; one sister, Mary Catherine Phelps; three brothers, Robert Mudd, Ivan Mudd and James Mudd; and one grandson, Tony Roby.
Survivors include two daughters, Dottie McNeil (Bob) and Donna Roby (Bobby); one sister, Alice Mudd; one grandson, Timothy Roby (Paula); and three great-grandchildren, Quinton Roby, Taryn Roby, and Hunter Roby.
The funeral is 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018, at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home in Mount Washington with burial in the Mount Washington Cemetery.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9, 2018, and after 10 a.m. Saturday.
