Two people injured after car runs off KY 245 and into ravine near TNHS

Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018 — Two people were injured Thursday morning as a result of an accident after a vehicle ran off New Shepherdsville Road and plummeted down a ravine across the road from the vicinity of Thomas Nelson High School.
At about 10:55 Thursday morning, Nelson County EMS, Bardstown Police and the Bardstown Fire Department were dispatched for what was originally believed to be a non-injury accident. One person was injured attempting to help the person whose car was in the ravine. Firefighters spent about 20 minutes assisting the victim out of the vehicle and to the top of the ravine.
Nelson County EMS treated two people at the scene and transported them to Flaget Memorial Hospital for treatment.
