Obituary: Susan ‘Neicey’ Brown Devers, 60, Gleanings
Susan “Neicey” Brown Devers, 60, of Gleanings, died Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2018, at her residence. She was a member of Salem Christian Church and a housewife.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Powell and Florence Underwood Brown; one sister, Kim Bell; and one brother, Brian Brown.
Susan is survived by her husband, Arthur Devers; two daughters, Kelly (Gary) Drake of Elizabethtown and Tonya (Stephen) Hawkins of Hodgenville; one son Ben (Jodie) Devers of Bardstown; two sisters, Gail Cundiff of Shepherdsville and Tracey (Earl) Sims of Florida; five brothers, Melvin (Mary) Brown and Bruce Brown, both of Gleanings, Barry “Tinker” Brown of Sonora, Byron (Brenda) Brown of White City and Gary (Lori) Brown of Buffalo; and seven grandchildren, Taylor Aubrey, Erynn Reynolds, Jacob Gilpin, Tanner Reynolds, Emma-Grace Devers, Addie Devers and Ella Devers.
The funeral was 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 16, 2018, at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home with Bro. Sid Lewis and Bro. Gary Brown officiating. Burial was in the Rolling Fork Baptist Church Cemetery in Gleanings.
The Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville was in charge of arrangements.
