Obituary: Paul Adam Spalding, 76, Louisville

Paul Adam Spalding, 76, of Louisville, died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018, at his residence. He was born Nov. 5, 1941, in Springfield to the late George and Angie Hagan Spalding. He was an employee of Producers Feed for 40 years, a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Springfield and loved to fish.

He is survived by his lifetime companion and friend, Sarah Butler of Louisville; four daughters, Pandora Holland of South Carolina, Paula Butler, Sallie Butler, and Sheila Butler, all of Louisville; three sons, Michael Simms, the Rev. Enrique “Rickey” Butler and Victor Butler, all of Louisville; one sister, Martha Louise Spalding of Indianapolis; 22 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The funeral is noon Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018, at the Forest Tabernacle Baptist Church, 4205 East Indian Trail, Louisville with the Rev. Enrique Butler officiating. Burial is in the St. Augustine Cemetery in Lebanon.

Visitation is 10 a.m. – noon Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018, at the church.

The Houghlin Funeral Home of Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
