One person injured Friday afternoon after car strikes High Grove Road home

Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018 — A 29-year-old woman  was injured Friday afternoon after the car she was in left High Grove Road and struck a house located in the 700 block. The accident was reported at about 5:30 p.m.

The Nelson County Fire Department, Nelson County EMS and the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office responded to the accident scene. EMS treated the injured woman at the scene for neck and back pain and a possible ankle injury. She was transported by EMS to a Louisville hospital for evaluation and treatment.
