Obituary: John Francis ‘Johnny’ Wright, 46, Lebanon

John Francis “Johnny” Wright, 46, of Lebanon, died Sunday, Feb. 25, 2018, as a result of an auto accident near Calvary. He was born Oct. 5, 1971, in Marion County. He was an employee of Coulter’s Towing in Bardstown and a member of Arbuckle Baptist Church. He formerly managed O’Rielly Auto Parts in Lebanon and Springfield and worked at Walmart in Lebanon. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved his family and he always put his daughters first.

Survivors include his parents, Bobby and Cil Downs Wright of Lebanon; two daughters, Jasper Wright and Olivia Wright, both at home; one sister, Lynn Sallee (Danny) of Calvary; one brother, Bobby Wright, Jr. (Tinker) of Lebanon; his best friend, James Flowers of Lebanon; two special friends, Tina Cecil of Lebanon and Tiffany Davis of Bardstown.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday, March 2, 2018, at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto. Burial is in Ryder Cemetery in Lebanon with the Rev. Bo Sherrill officiating.

Visitation is 12-8 p.m. Thursday, March 1, 2018, at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may go to the family fund and may be made at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are James Flowers, Josh Flowers, Shawn Gaither, Ronnie Wilcoxson, Austin Davis, Chris Downs, Michael Bickett and David Bickett. Honorary Pallbearers are Tiffaney Sallee, Danny Paul Sallee, Stephen Wright, Heather Wilson and Billy Downs.

The Mattingly Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
