Obituary: Kathy Jane Back Hagan, 61, New Haven

Kathy Jane Back Hagan, 61, of New Haven, died Thursday, March 1, 2018, at her residence in New Haven. She was a member of the Baptist Faith, and a 23-year employee with Walmart in Bardstown. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. She was born Jan. 5, 1957, in Kenosha, Wisc., to the late Orville Sr. and Juanita Brown Back.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Gary Dale Back.

She is survived by three sons, Joseph Codell (Mickey) Hagan and James Patrick (Kimberly) Hagan, both of New Haven, and Darren Keith (Colleen) Hagan of Culvertown; two sisters, Sandra Cole of Bardstown and Ann Bryan of New Haven; three brothers, Darrell (Jean) Back of Icetown, Samuel David Back of Louisville, and Orville Codell (Sue) Back Jr. of Wax; six grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday, March 3, 2018, at the William R. Rust Funeral Home New Haven Chapel with Bro. Bruce Nichols officiating. Burial is at a later date in the Marshall Cemetery in New Haven.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2018, and 9-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

The William R. Rust Funeral Home, 167 N. Main St., New Haven is in charge of arrangements.
