Teen injured Saturday morning in two-vehicle crash at Botland

Saturday, March 3, 2018 — A 19-year-old man was injured Saturday morning in a two-vehicle collision in Botland at the intersection of US150, the Springfield Road, and Manton Road. Just before 10 a.m. Saturday, the Nelson County Fire Department, Nelson County EMS and the sheriff’s office were dispatched for an injury accident at that location. Traffic on Springfield Road was shut down while first-responders used rescue tools to open one of the vehicle’s doors. The man was treated at the scene by EMS and transported to Flaget Memorial Hospital.
