Obituary: Barbara Jean ‘MeMe’ Hunt, 81, Elizabethtown

Barbara Jean “MeMe” Hunt, 81, of Elizabethtown, died Friday, March 9, 2018, at Hardin Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Tunnel Hill Baptist Church and an accountant for the Hardin County Circuit Court Clerk’s Office. She was a member of the Boston Community Center, an avid gardener and a seamstress. She was devoted to her family and friends, all of whom she dearly loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie and Leona Goodin; and two brothers, Brownie Goodin and Joe Goodin.

Survivors include her husband, Clyde Hunt; one daughter, Donna Jury (Larry); one son, Dale Hunt (Robin); five grandchildren, Clinton Jury (Kristina), Clayton Jury (Ashley), Seth Hunt (Brittany), Molly Boenig (Jeff); and four great grandchildren.

A private funeral service is Sunday, March 11, 2018, at Dixon-Atwood & Trowbridge Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with Bro. Charles Frazier officiating. Burial is in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
