Obituary: Jane Carol Thompson, 53, Lebanon

Jane Carol Thompson, 53, of Lebanon, died Thursday, March 15, 2018, at Norton Hospital in Louisville. She was born Aug. 10, 1964, in Marion County to the late James Paul and Dorothy Lucille Mattingly Thompson. She formerly worked at Walmart in Lebanon with 27 years of service.

Survivors include her fiancé, Barry Richerson; her son, Paul Ruley (Breanna) of Radcliff; four sisters, Leola Nalley (Lennie) and Heather Harvey (Charlie), both of Loretto, Pauline Settles (Bobby) of Bardstown and Tammy Smothers (Cotton) of Lebanon; one brother, Avral Thompson (Trista) of Bardstown; three grandchildren, Ziggy Ray Ruley, Kaylee Marie and Elijah Braelin; and a special friend, Debbie Drury of Lebanon.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2018, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 6785 Highway 52, Loretto with Deacon Dennis May officiating. Burial is in the church cemetery.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Friday, March 16, 2018, at the Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto with a prayer service at 7 p.m. by Pastor Phil Bishop.

The Mattingly Funeral Home in Loretto is in charge of arrangements.
