Obituary: Leroy Gilbert, 83, Bardstown

Leroy Gilbert, 83, of Bardstown, died Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at Kindred Hospital in Louisville. He was born Feb. 5, 1935, in Bardstown. He was a longtime resident of Signature Healthcare at Colonial.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Aline Gilbert Anderson; and brother, Rev. Willie Ed Linton.

He is survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The funeral service is 1 p.m. Monday, April 2, 2018, at the First Baptist Church of Bardstown with the Rev. Michael Smith officiating. Burial is in the Bardstown Cemetery.

Visitation is 10 a.m.- 1 p.m.. Monday, April 2, 2018, at the church.

Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
