Obituary: Margaret Lowe Bunch, 83, Washington County

Margaret Lowe Bunch, 83, of the Mooresville community of Washington County, died at 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at her home. She was born in Marion County on Oct. 2, 1934, to the late Albert Sidney and Lillian Katherine Milburn Lowe. She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church and a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd L. Bunch, on Jan. 15, 1994; and one son, Morris Allen Bunch, on May 1, 2004.

Survivors include one daughter, Phyllis Downs (Gary) of Bardstown; one daughter-in-law, Judy Bunch of Elkton, Md.; three sisters, Gladys Carney of Springfield, and Janice Fenwick (Leon) and Debbie Lowe, both of Danville; one brother, James Lowe (Karen) of Danville; three grandchildren, Rhonda Case, Amanda Bunch and Matthew Bunch; two great-granddaughters, Eliana Muzzi and Kylie Case; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday, March 31, 2018, at the New Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. Tobe Yankey, the church pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the New Hope Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday, March 30, 2018, at the Carey & Son Funeral Home and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the church.
