Obituary: Joshua Daniel ‘Josh’ Burke, 21, Elizabethtown
Joshua Daniel “Josh” Burke, 21, of Elizabethtown, died Sunday, April 1, 2018, at Hardin Memorial Hospital. He was born August 30, 1996, and was a native of St. Francis. He was a 2015 graduate of Central Hardin High School and an employee of Structures USA in Elizabethtown. He was a fun-loving person who was loved by many. He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed bowling, hiking and anything outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Michael Joseph Burke Sr.
He is survived by his mother, Tammy Jo Bickett (James Hynes) of Louisville; his father, Patrick Thomas Burke (Stacy Lee Newton) of New Haven; his grandparents, Tom and Jan Barbour of New Haven and Earl and Betty Bickett of Loretto; three sisters, Amber Nicole Burke (Jimmy Keys) and Mary Elisabeth Burke (Brandon Phillips), both of Louisville and Abigail Lee Burke of New Haven; two brothers, Joe Pat Burke of Elizabethtown and Alan Kendrick Cottrell of Louisville; two nieces, Ja’Niyah Nicole Walker and Jewella Denise Keys; two nephews, Landen Michael Phillips and Eli James Phillips; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
The Memorial Service is 11 a.m Saturday, April 7, 2018, at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with Deacon Joseph R. Dant will officiating.
Visitation is 9-11 a.m. Saturday, April 7, 2018, at the funeral home.
The Mattingly Funeral Home in Loretto is in charge of arrangements.
