Obituary: Sister Angelus Caron, SL, 101. Nerinx

Sister Angelus Caron, SL, 101. of the Loretto Motherhouse, died there Tuesday, April 3, 2018. She was born June 27, 1916, in Stockton, Kan., to the late Frank Patrick and Nettie Margaret Roelfs Caron. She entered religious life in 1935 and received her final vows in 1941. She was a former educator with assignments in Colorado, Arizona, California, Virginia, Missouri and Texas. She moved to the Loretto Motherhouse in 2005.

The Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Saturday, April 7, 2018, at the Loretto Motherhouse Church, 515 Nerinx Road, Nerinx. Cremation will follow.

Her wake is 4:30 p.m. Friday at the Motherhouse Church.

Mattingly Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
