Obituary: Troy Williams, 52, Bardstown
Troy Williams, 52, of Bardstown, died Thursday, April 5, 2018, at Jewish Hospital. He was born Jan. 28, 1966, in Bardstown. He drove for Active Day and Bourbon City Taxi, and formerly worked for Toyota. He was a member of St. John A.M.E. Zion Church, played the trumpet for the Nelson County High School, and was a diehard Louisville Cardinal Fan.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Alice Williams; and two brothers, Arthur Ray Williams and Terry Williams.
He is survived by his daughter, Celeste (Leo) Dominguez of Springfield; his father, Horace Churchill of Springfield; four sisters, Toni (Michael) Williams and Joyce (William) Williams both of Bardstown, Janet (Marvin) Graves of Bloomfield, and Amonda (Steven) Riley of Bardstown; one brother, Calvin (Jinny) Williams of Springfield; two grandchildren, Lathan Dominguez and Gissell Dominguez, both of Springfield; a host of nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Julia Smalley of Bardstown.
The funeral is 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at St. John’s A.M.E. Zion Church in Bardstown with burial in the Bloomfield Cemetery with the Rev. Roscoe Linton officiating.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Monday, April 9, 2018, and 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
Barlow Funeral Home in Bardstown is in charge of arrangements.
