Obituary: Beulah LaFollette Jackson, 91, Elizabethtown

Beulah LaFollette Jackson, 91, of Elizabethtown, formerly of Louisville, died Thursday, April 5, 2018, at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Hodgenville. She was a member of Highland Park Christian Church in Louisville, attended Union Christian Church in Hodgenville and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elza Howard Jackson; her parents, Bill and Lorena Kennedy LaFollette; and four brothers, George LaFollette, Boyd Lee LaFollette, Elmo LaFollette and Willie D. LaFollette.

She is survived by two daughters, Bonnie (Larry) Alford of South Carolina and Shiela (Jerry) Williams of Elizabethtown; one son, Gerald (Kathy) Jackson of Bardstown; two brothers, Harlis (Bessie) LaFollette of Hodgenville and Quincy (Betty) LaFollette of New Haven; four grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Monday, April 9, 2018, at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Bro. Steve Campbell officiating. Burial is in the Union Christian Church Cemetery.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Sunday, April 8, 2018, and after 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
