John Ernest Bunch, 68, of Bardstown, died Sunday, April 8, 2018, at his residence. He was born June 16, 1949, in Bardstown to the late Ernest and Frances Riggs Bunch. He was a U.S. Army veteran, an employee of American Fuji Seal for 41 years, and was a member of the Catholic faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Connie Spears; and one brother, Terry Bunch.
He is survived by one daughter, Angie (Todd) Greenwell of New Haven; one son, Travis Bunch of Bardstown; three sisters, Mary (Herman) Nalley of Bardstown, Sharon Hutchins of Holy Cross, and Pat (James) Nalley of Loretto; his special friend, Martha Terry of Clarkson; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home with Bro. Bruce Nichols officiating. Burial is in the Bardstown Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
