Obituary: Ryan Hood, 37, Bardstown

Ryan Hood, 37, of Bardstown, died Thursday April 12, 2018, at Flaget Memorial Hospital. He was born Oct. 19, 1980, in Lebanon. He was an employee for Rebecca’s Pepperoni Grill, a 1999 graduate of Bardstown High School, an avid UK fan, a Miami Dolphins Fan, and enjoyed all sports.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Leo and Nancy Miles.

He is survived by his parents, Eddie and Debbie Hood of Bardstown; one sister, C.J. (Justin) Brown of Bardstown; his partner, Dan Rease of Maastricht, Netherlands; his niece and nephew, Leah and Benson Brown; his paternal grandmother, Dottie Hood of Bardstown; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in Bardstown Cemetery with the Rev. Eddie Benton officiating.

Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2018, and 9-11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may go toward his service.
