Firefighters called to Botland for report of strong gasoline smell

Friday, June 10, 2011, 11:21 p.m. — The Bardstown Fire Department was called to the area of 150 Quick Stop, 4598 Springfield Rd., for a report of a strong smell of gasoline in the area.

11:25 p.m. — A deputy sheriff is at the store and reports the strong gasoline odor is caused by a delivery truck making a deliver of gasoline. All responding fire units are diverted to Flowers Bakery.
