Obituary: Clara Jean ‘Jeanie’ Thompson Caswell, 76, Louisville

Clara Jean “Jeanie” Thompson Caswell, 76, of Louisville, died Friday, April 27, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 29, 1941, to the late Mack & Isabel Thompson in Raywick.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Thompson and Tommy Thompson; and sister, Carol Minor.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Richard Caswell; three daughters, Renee Koebel (Greg), Diane Bell (Jeff), and Karen Pehlke (Ed); two sons, Larry Cambron (Sue) and Patrick Caswell (Denise); eight sisters, Ruth Hagan, Joyce Hamilton, Judy Blandford (Tommy), Rita Bland (Lonnie), Louise Deep (Eddie), Sue Sidebottom (Mike), Kaye Luckett (Nolan) and Trish Edelen (Joey); two sisters-in-law, Barbara Thompson and Geraldine Moore; one brother-in-law, Dean Minor; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Monday, April 30, 2018, at Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 108 Main Street, Raywick, with burial in the church cemetery with the Rev. James W. Graf officiating.

Visitation is noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, April 29, 2018, at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road, Louisville and after 10 a.m. Monday at the church.

The Mattingly Funeral Home in Loretto is in charge of arrangements.
