Obituary: Donald L. Barbour, 75

Donald L. Barbour, 75, died Friday, April 27, 2018, at Norton Brownsboro Hospital. He was born in Louisville to the late Jesse and Mayme Brown Barbour. He was retired from Philip Morris where he was a maintenance supervisor. He was a member of the Brotherhood Choir at Second Baptist Church in Fairfield.

Preceding him in death, other than his parents, was one sister, Gloria Jean Jones; and one brother, Jeffery Barbour.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Doris Maddox Barbour; his children, Tony Barbour (Linda), Kim Barbour, and Sean Barbour (Molly); one sister, Sheila Barbour; two brothers, Eric Barbour (Cindy) and Ronald Barbour (Joyce); one sister-in-law, Andrea Barbour; and one grandson, Christian M. Barbour.

The funeral is noon Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at the First Baptist Church of Jeffersontown, 10600 Watterson Trail in Louisville.

Visitation is 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday at the church. Burial is in Jeffersontown Cemetery.

Memorial donations may go to Hosparus of Louisville in his memory.

The Ratterman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
