Obituary: Dolly Richardson, 85, Taylorsville
Dolly Richardson, 85, of Taylorsville, died Monday, May 7, 2018, at Baptist Health in Louisville. She was born March 19, 1933, in Nelson County to the late Joseph Mansfield and Louella Pinkston Mattingly. She was an employee of General Electric for 25 years, a former employee of the Singer Sewing Factory, a member of Plum Creek Baptist Church, and a member of the Springfield Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Sneed; two sisters, Virlie Thomas and Margaret McClain; and four brothers, Heze Mattingly, Dan Mattingly, Raymond Mattingly, and Jake Mattingly.
She is survived by her husband, John W. Richardson; one daughter, Della (Scott) Swan of Shepherdsville; one son, John Thomas “Tommy” (Nancy) Richardson of Bloomfield; one sister, Delcie Humes of Fairfield; two grandchildren, Dr. Sara (Clayton) Rogers and Madison Swan; and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday, May 11, 2018, at the Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home in Taylorsville with Bro. John Rohr officiating. Burial is in Big Spring Cemetery.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Thursday, May 10, 2018, at the funeral home.
The Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home of Taylorsville is in charge of arrangements.
