Obituary: Leonard T Clark, 80, New Haven
Leonard T Clark, 80, of New Haven, died Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at his residence. He was born in Louisville in 1937 to Anthony Clark and Pearl Smallwood Clark. After 20 years in the U.S. Marine Corps, he retired as a Captain, and began working as a farmer. He was a long time member of St. Catherine Parish in New Haven.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Philip Clark.
He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Clark of New Haven; two daughters, Jessica (Jimmy) Clark-Allen of Elizabethtown and Carla Clark of Huntington Beach, Calif.; one son, Bruce Clark of New Haven; two grandsons, Justin Allen and Jacob Allen; and these Marines who served with him who were like sons to him: Tommy Ray Smith of North Carolina, Joseph Zupan of Pennsylvania, and Tony Wunderlich of Florida.
The funeral is 1 p.m. Saturday, May 12, 2018, at Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. A graveside service with military honors is 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday, May 11, 2018, and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at the Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.
