Flaget Memorial Hospital to host women’s health and maternity fair June 9

June 1, 2018 — Flaget Memorial Hospital, part of KentuckyOne Health, will host a Women’s Health and Maternity Fair 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 9. The event will take place at Flaget Memorial Hospital, located at 4305 New Shepherdsville Road in Bardstown.

“The Women’s Health and Maternity Fair is a fun way to provide new and expecting moms with valuable resources that they need, as well as share general health information with women of all ages in our community,” said Delisa Arnold, RN, BSN, MSN, Director of Birth Center & Skilled Nursing Unit, Flaget Memorial Hospital. “Lecture topics will include infant and child care education, as well as nutrition and exercise tips for all women.”

In addition to lectures, festivities for the event include vendor booths, displays, samples, demonstrations, door prizes and refreshments. KentuckyOne Health will provide complimentary drinks and snacks.

Giveaways and prizes will be distributed after the final speaker, and you must be present to win. One lucky attendee will take home a $500 Walmart gift card, and another winner will take home a $200 Chamber of Commerce gift certificate.

“We are excited to offer valuable information for women at every stage in life at the Women’s Health and Maternity Fair,” said Amy Farrell, MD, KentuckyOne Health Obstetrics and Gynecology Associates. “We hope that many women from the Bardstown community will join us for this free and educational event.”
