Obituary: Joyce Ann Mann Boone, 81, Springfield

Joyce Ann Mann Boone, 81, of Mudd-Kelly Lane, Springfield, died at 8:50 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at her residence. She was the widow of the late Powell Boone. She was the Business Manager of Lincoln Homestead State Park in Washington County for many years.

She is survived by two daughters, Lucinda Effner (Jerry) of Springfield and Kateri Bolton (Doug) of Bellbrook, Ohio; one son, Peter Boone (Sandy) of Springfield; one sister, Theresa “Bootsie” Nally of Lebanon; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

The Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 16, 2018, at St. Dominic Catholic Church with burial in the St. Dominic-Holy Rosary Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2018, with a 7:30 p.m, prayer service, and 7-10:15 a.m. Saturday at the Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home in Springfield.

Contributions are suggested to St. Dominic Church, Mass of the Air or Hosparus of Green River.

The Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home in Springfield is in charge of arrangements.
