Fire department will test hydrants in Springhill area this week

Sunday, June 17, 2018 — The City of Bardstown Fire Department’s annual fire hydrant testing program is underway.
On Monday, June 18, 2018, through Friday, June 22, 2018, the fire department will be testing hydrants in the Springhill area. This area will include:
- Indian Trail
- Olympia Drive
- Venus Court
- Apollo Court
- Scenic Drive
- Vista Court
- Angela Drive
- Cecil Court
- Rainbow Court
- St. James Court
- Valleyview Drive
- Marvin Downs Lane
During testing, customers in these areas may experience discolored water or air in the lines. Please allow your faucet to run for a few minutes to clear any sediment particles and air bubbles that may have been trapped in your service lines.
The Bardstown Fire Department would like to thank its customers for their cooperation during this maintenance program. Routine testing is very important to unsure hydrants are functioning properly.
