Obituary: Stephen Davis ‘Steve’ Hale, 66, Springfield
Stephen Davis “Steve” Hale, 66, of High Street, Springfield, died at 4:12 a.m. Wednesday at University Hospital in Louisville. He was a real estate broker and auctioneer in Springfield for 41 years with Hale Realty & Auction.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Haydon Hale; two daughters, Alicia Ward (Charles) and Charissa Greathouse (Greg), both of Springfield; four sons, Stephen Hale II (Amy), Joseph Michael Hale (Catherine Ann), Matthew Walker Hale and William Haydon Hale, all of Springfield; one sister, Janice Burkhead of Springfield; one brother, Jeff Hale (Mary Lou) of Hendersonville, Tenn.; and seven grandchildren.
The Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Dominic Catholic Church with burial in St. Dominic-Holy Rosary Cemetery.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Friday, June 22, 2018, and 7-10:15 a.m. Saturday at the Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home in Springfield with a prayer service 8 p.m. Friday.
Memorial contributions may go to St. Dominic Catholic Church or the Little Sisters of the Poor.
