Obituary: Thomas Michael Wheatley, 58, Fisherville

Thomas Michael Wheatley, 58, of Fisherville, died Sunday, June 24, 2018, at his residence. He was born Aug. 1, 1959, in Louisville to Thomas and Joyce Edelen Wheatley. He was a tool and die maker for Thai Summit Kentucky. He enjoyed music and playing the guitar. He was creative and his talents were endless.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Wheatley.

He is survived by his wife, Lori Leedy Wheatley of Fisherville; two daughters, Stephanie (Joseph) Duvall of Fisherville and Amber Wheatley (Shawn Cloran) of Spartanburg, S.C.; his mother, Joyce E. Edelen of Louisville; two grandchildren, Hunter Duvall and Hallie Duvall; two stepdaughters, Jessica Noble (Mike Craft) of Jeffersontown and Alyssa Noble (Tim Lepping) of Louisville; one stepson, Joel (Vanessa) Noble of Frankfort; two stepgranddaughters, Zoe Craft and Ava Noble; and one stepgrandson, Wyatt Noble.

Cremation was chosen by the family with a 10 a.m. Memorial Mass Saturday, June 30, 2018, at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral with the Rev. Terry Bradshaw officiating. Inurnment is in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday, June 29, 2018, with a6 p.m. prayer service Friday evening at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home.
