Obituary: William Calvin Thomas, 78, Lebanon
William Calvin Thomas, 78, of Lebanon, died Sunday, July 1, 2018, at his residence. He was born Feb. 22, 1940m in Raywick. He was a farmer and a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Diana Reynolds Thomas; and one son, Michael Wayne Thomas.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Abell Osbourn Thomas, of Lebanon; one daughter, Lori (Eric) Scott of St. Joe; two sons, Larry (Janell) Thomas and Kevin (Melissa) Thomas, both of St. Joe; four stepdaughters, Kim (Dave) Culver of Florida, Karen (Bob) Nolan of Colorado, Marty (George) O’Daniel of Louisville, and Jill (Chris) Bradshaw of Lebanon; two stepsons, Richard (Geralyn) Osbourn of Taylorsville and Jack (Jill) Osbourn of Fredericksburg; one sister, Judy Reynolds of Bardstown; three brothers, J.B. Thomas and Jimmy Thomas, both of Lebanon, and Randall Thomas of Raywick; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; 21 stepgrandchildren; and one stepgreat-grandchild.
The Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Friday, July 6, 2018, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with burial in the St. Joe Cemetery.
Visitation is 3-8:30 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2018, at Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon.
In lieu of flowers, expression of sympathy may take the form of contributions made to the St. Joe Cemetery Fund.
The Bosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
