Legion post to hold flag retirement ceremony 11 a.m. Saturday

Sunday, July 15, 2018 — American Legion “Old Kentucky Home” Post 121 will hold a retirement ceremony for unserviceable flags at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 21, 2018.

It is recommended all worn set of flags be fittingly retired. They have served our county for many years and on a great variety on occasions. We shall retire them with the respect they deserve.

Post 121 has a flag box for retired flags that is available 24/7 in front of the post at 206 West Broadway in Bardstown. Pick up of Nelson County residents flags for retirement is also available — contact Richard Nest (502) 349-7550 for pick up.
