Obituary: William Frederick ‘Freddie’ Hamilton, 67, formerly of Bardstown

William Frederick “Freddie” Hamilton, 67, formerly of Bardstown, died Saturday, Aug. 4, 2018, at his residence in Louisville. He was born Jan. 20, 1951, to William Toby and Catherine Elvira First Hamilton. He was a chimney sweeper, loved working on computers, watching football and was a member of St. Monica Catholic Church. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Toby Hamilton.

He is survived by his mother, Catherine Elvira First Hamilton of Bardstown; four sisters, Brenda Craig of Louisville, Janet McGuire of Indianapolis, and Carolyn Bolton and Nettie Whitiker, both of Louisville; one brother, Dennis Alexander Hamilton of Indianapolis; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The funeral is 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, 2018, at the Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home in Bardstown.

Visitation is 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
