County firefighters called out for car on fire in Plum Run Road driveway

Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2018 — The Nelson County Fire Department responded Monday afternoon to a report of a car on fire at a home in the 2000 block of Plum Run Road. Firefighters were dispatched at about 3:43 p.m. Monday. Firefighters reported the vehicle was in the driveway fully engulfed in flames.

Firefighters had the fire extinguished in short order and remained on scene for about 45 minutes.
