Obituary: Kaylee Ann Marchelle Spencer, 8, Vine Grove

Kaylee Ann Marchelle Spencer, 8, of Vine Grove, died Saturday, Aug. 11, 2018, at Norton Children’s Hospital. She was a student at Vine Grove Elementary School.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Roger Sanders; and her grandmother, Tammy Spencer.

Survivors include her parents, Marc and Megan Spencer; one brother, Blake Sanders; her grandparents, Tim Spencer and Lisa Wilson, Gean Sanders and Curtis Mullins; four aunts, Trista Crooks (William), Lisa Wilson, Maria Sanders-Nugent and Sherri Mullins Back; four uncles, Brian Sanders (Alicia), Thomas Sanders (Debbie), Johnny Sanders (Martha) and Mikey Spencer (Debbie); and several cousins including Nicki Kennedy (Tyler) and Darvey, Lucy and Lucas who were like her sisters and brother.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 17, 2018, at the Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction with Pastor Mike Rodgers officiating. Burial is in the Bethany Cemetery in Louisville.

Visitation is noon – 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug.16, 2018, and after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. The family requests no black clothes and asks that everyone wear bright and colorful clothing. Donations may be made to the funeral home to help with the funeral expenses.

The Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction is in charge of the arrangements.
