Obituary: Arnold Wade Dickey, 66, Bardstown

Arnold Wade Dickey, 66, of Bardstown, died Thursday, Aug. 16, 2018, at his residence. He was born on March 19, 1952, in Waynesboro, Tenn., to the late Charles Edward and Fredda Rowden Dickey. He was a truck driver for Tradewinds Transit for 40 years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Brenda Stooksberry; two brothers, Perry Dickey and Douglas Dickey; and his stepfather, Gordon Hurst.

He is survived by his son, Charles Wade (Brittany) Dickey of Bardstown; two sisters, Cathy (Jimmy) Ray of Savannah, Tenn. and Cynthia Daniel of Lawrenceburg, Tenn.; and two grandchildren.

The family has chosen a non-ceremonial cremation and there will be no visitation or funeral at this time.

The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
