Obituary: Betty Jean Crain Council, 60, Campbellsville

Betty Jean Crain Council, 60, of Campbellsville, died Friday, Aug. 24, 2018, at her daughter’s home in Buffalo with family by her side. She was born Jan. 5, 1958, to the late George Henry Crain Sr. and her mother, Agnes Cundiff Crain in New Haven.

She was a nurse’s aid for Sunrise Manor Nursing Home and home health.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby Council Sr. of Barlow; one daughter, Sabrina (Cheeko) Blair of Buffalo; one son, Bobby (Stephanie) Council Jr. of Campbellsville; her mother, Agnes Cundiff Crain; 10 brothers and sisters; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The funeral will be private at the William R. Rust Funeral Home Hodgenville Chapel with family officiating.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation was chosen.

The William R. Rust Funeral Home Hodgenville Chapel, 612 N. Lincoln Boulevards, Hodgenville, is in charge of arrangements.
