Deputies, animal control officer respond for bull calf loose on golf course
Wednesday, June 15, 2011, 9:52 a.m. — The Nelson County Sheriff’s Office is out at Woodlawn Springs Golf Course for a wayward bull calf that is loose in the area. The calf is described being black Angus breed with two ear tags and weighing about 500 lbs. An animal control officer is responding to the area. At press time the calf was laying in the grass. Officers and dispatchers are attempting to determine where the calf belongs.
