Obituary: Joseph Michael Robey IV, 17, Lebanon
Joseph Michael Robey IV, 17, of Lebanon, died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2018, as a result of an auto accident. He was born Nov. 9, 2000, in Marion County. He was a senior at Marion County High School. He played softball and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Viola and Junior Fields, Albert Lee and Vincent A. Lee, and Joseph Michael & Lillie Robey.
Survivors include his parents, Christy Lee (Jake Gordon) of Lebanon and Joseph Michael Robey III of St. Francis; one sister, Savannah Lee of Lebanon; two brothers, Dylan Abell of Saint Mary’s and Brandon Lee of Lebanon;
his grandparents, Peggy & Jack Lee of St. Mary’s, Marvin Cecil and Joseph Michael Robey Jr., both of St. Francis, Danny Hourigan of Lebanon, Diane and Tim Medley of Loretto; and his great-grandparents, Carl Dean and Jeanie Mattingly of Loretto, and Rose Marie Lee of Raywick.
The funeral is 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2018, at the Abundant Life Church, 549 N. Spalding Ave., Lebanon with Tony Brahm officiating. Burial is in the St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in St. Francis.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2018, at the Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto and noon – 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2018, at the church. A prayer service is 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
