One arrested, one transported to hospital following two-vehicle injury crash

Thursday, Sept. 13, 2018 — One person was injured and another arrested Thursday morning after a two-vehicle injury accident at the “Y” on Murphy Lane near Chaplin.

At about 9 a.m., Nelson County EMS and the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched for an injury crash on Murphy Lane. Two ambulances responded to the scene. One person refused treatment by EMS; a second person was treated by EMS and then transported to Flaget Memorial Hospital for treatment of possible injuries.

One person was arrested by the officers at the scene and lodged in the Nelson County Jail. A pickup truck involved in the crash was towed from the scene.
