Obituary: Carl Thomas Bunnell, 72, Shepherdsville

Carl Thomas Bunnell, 72, of Shepherdsville, died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2018, at Jewish Hospital. He was a heavy equipment operator and last worked for Hedges Construction. He also was a member of Calvary Road Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Sam Bunnell; and two stepfathers, Robert Price, Sr. and Jesse Duncan.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Sue Bunnell; his mother, Billie Jane Hodge Duncan; his children, one daughter, Karla Sue Bunnell; five sons, Carl Thomas Bunnell II, James Edgar Bunnell, Charles Anthony Bunnell, Billy Joe Bunnell (Dawn) and Bryan Willis Bunnell; four sisters, Rhonda Tatum, Gerianne Rambaran, Audrey Jane Kulmer and Roberta Swygart; one brother, Robert Adrian Price; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, 2018, at Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction with Bro. Jaime Sicairos officiating. Burial is in Lebanon Junction City Cemetery.

Visitation is 1-8 p.m. p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2018, and after 9 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, 2018, at Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction.

Kappel Funeral Home in Lebanon Junction is in charge of the arrangements.
