Obituary: Margaret ‘Mimi’ Miller Seeger, 53, Bardstown

Margaret “Mimi” Miller Seeger, 53, of Bardstown, died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2018, at Baptist Health in Louisville. She was born Oct. 2, 1964, in Bardstown. She was a 1983 graduate of Bardstown High School, attended the University of Kentucky, and was a member of Bardstown Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Jack and Monie McKay Saltsman; and paternal grandparents, Harry “Pinky” and Libby Seeger Jr.

She is survived by five children, John Wesley Hamilton, Margaret Amelia Hamilton, John Kennedy Hamilton, Currin McNairy Hamilton, and Mariam Griffith Montgomery; six grandchildren; her parents, Harry and Elizabeth Saltsman Seeger III; one brother, Harry “Four” Louis Seeger IV; the father of her children, John Kennedy Hamilton; and special thanks and heartfelt appreciation to Paul Cambron, her friend and companion and his family.

The visitation is 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, 2018, at Barlow Funeral Home with burial at Bardstown Cemetery with the Rev. Karl Lusk officiating.

Memorial contributions may go to American Cancer Society.
