Bardstown man indicted by grand jury on charge of first-degree stalking

Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2018 — A Bardstown man was indicted Wednesday by a Nelson County grand jury on a charge of first-degree stalking.

According to the indictment, between June 6, 2017 and May 28, 2018, Marion W. Grant, 51, allegedly followed a Bloomfield woman intentionally to two Bardstown businesses, and by doing so, placed her in reasonable fear of serious physical injury or death. The indictment notes that Grant had previously been served with a Kentucky protective order.

Bail was set at $5,000 cash only, plus conditions. Grant will be arraigned Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018 in Nelson Circuit Court.
